Character Customization Mods

Living Skyrim offers a wide array of customization options – from hair to tattoos and eyes. Use the included mods to perfect your character’s look. If you’re overwhelmed by choices, try the presets curated by our community.

🔗 Notable Mod: To use the High Poly Head mod, set the “Face part” to option 3 in RaceMenu. Manual sculpting might be needed for eyebrow or beard adjustments.

A Word About Difficulty

• Recommended Difficulty: Adept. Adjust as per your preference.
• Want a more challenging experience? Consider skipping ELSA and Classic Classes & Birthsigns (CC&B) setups.

MCM Configuration

Mandatory Control and MCM Settings

1. After completing character creation, text will appear in the top left corner.
2. Wait until all text vanishes before moving on.
3. If pop-ups appear, read and close them.
4. As much as possible, try to remain still in game and not open menus while the MCM setup is in progress.
5. The MCM Recording will alert you when it’s done with the MCM configuration.
6. Save your game, then immediately load that save.
7. Done! MCMs are now set up.

Adjusting Keybind Conflicts

Some hotkeys might overlap due to MCM recording issues. Check and tweak as necessary:

• Take Notes: Set ‘Open Journal’ to the ‘B’ key.
• SmoothCam: Go to thirdperson and set 'Shoulder Swap' to 'N' key.
• Dual Wield Block: Set the hotkey to 'V'

ELSA

To get a skill bonus from ELSA:

1. Open Power/Shout menu.
2. Select “Reflect”.
3. Press the Shout key (typically Z).

Classic Classes & Birthsigns Reimagined

Upon starting, you’ll find a book titled “Classic Classes” in your inventory. Reading it allows you to select a class and birthsign.

• Dispose of the book if not needed.
• For an added challenge, don’t pick a class/birthsign.
