Race Based Movesets

Information about Race-based movesets in Living Skyrim.

In LS4, each race has different movesets for each weapon type. User Astra#6925 in FG's Modlists discord has done this write up detailing roughly what each are, including their personal favorites.

All unarmed, bow, spell, and dual wielding animations are shared by every race. My person favorite moveset for each weapon is marked with a + sign

Dagger

  • ‍Group A+ (Quick thrusting moveset): Argonians, Dark Elves, High Elves, Khajiit, Redguards, and Wood Elves ‍
  • Group B (Slow slashing moveset): Bretons, Imperials, Nords, and Orcs

Sword ‍

  • ‍Group A (Thrusting moveset): Argonians, Khajiit ‍
  • Group B (Swings into thrust) Bretons, Imperials
  • ‍Group C+ (Wide swings with upper slash) Dark Elves, Redguards ‍
  • Group D (Wide slow swings) High Elves, Wood Elves ‍
  • Group E (Spinning moveset) Nords, Orcs

War Axe ‍

  • ‍Group A (Slow slashes) Argonians ‍
  • Group B (Fast slashes) Bretons, Imperials ‍
  • Group C+ (Wide slashes) Dark Elves, Redguards ‍
  • Group D (Slow clumsy slashes) High Elves, Khajiit, Wood Elves ‍
  • Group E (Low swings) Nords, Orcs

Maces ‍

  • ‍Group A+ (Angled swings) Argonians, Khajiit ‍
