"Can I play Masterstroke as a male character?"

When it comes down to it, NSFW mods usually are geared towards female characters.

If you want to play as a male here are some things to keep in mind in regard to specific mods

Devious Devices and Enchanted Chests

There are a lot of devices that are geared towards female characters, and some that will still attach to a male character such as clit piercings and plugs.

Defeat

By default, only male NPCs (and creatures on the creature profile) can be aggressors. This means you'll be exposed to a lot of homosexual content. This may or may not be desirable.

Fill Her Up

This tracks the amount of cum your character takes in and will make NPCs comment on how slutty you are based on that.

Prostitution Mods

There are quite a few mods that enable prostitution like "Public Whore" and "The Ancient Profession," these are written with a female character in mind. A lot of the dialogue will refer to you as a female, and The Garden of Dibella only has male customers. Your options to be a male prostitute are limited somewhat, although you can certainly be a customer.

Creature Profile (Parasites, Estrus)

Certain mods in the creature profile cause pregnancy and also attach to various parts of the female anatomy.

Conclusion

If you wish to play as a male, you'll have to concede that you won't have as many options as a female character, while also experiencing content that may not titillate a heterosexual player. While you could mess around with the MCM settings to create an experience tailored to males, you'll run into some unintended side effects.

That being said, do NOT disable mods through Mod Organizer 2, as it will cause major problems for you and revoke your ability to receive support in the Discord.

Femboys

Slightly related, but if you have an inclination towards femboy characters your best bet is to use a female character with a flattened chest, and use the already-included mod "GenderBender" to give them a schlong as well as tag them as a male in sex scenes.
There is a femboy bodyslide floating around that makes a flat chest, however you may notice there is a boob-shadow baked into the default skin texture (Fair Skin). To change that go to the List Customization section in Mod Organizer 2 and enable Binibini Skin for CBBE 3BA COCO.
